Services

Acupuncture services are divided into two modalities based on the desired goal of the patient:

Acupuncture for Pain and Recovery uses the traditional framework of “Sinew channels,” and “ashi points,” as a treatment methodology to release tension from overly contracted muscles to aid recovery and reduce pain.

The “Sinew Channels,” in Traditional Chinese Medicine closely overlap with Thomas Meyer’s Fascial Lines from Anatomy trains. “Ashi Points,” and the needling style used closely relate to trigger point therapy, as well as “Dry Needling,” techniques used by physical therapists.

Acupressure and bodywork is integrated into each treatment.

Acupuncture for Decompression and Relaxation uses gentle needling, and calming bodywork techniques to promote a deep state of relaxation to aid individuals experiencing overstimulation, stress, burnout, and fatigue. Guided breath work and visualization is integrated into treatments when appropriate.
